Default Leather seats

So i'm looking to convert my cloth seats to leather. I've been researching and I think i'm probably gonna go for s2k driver and passenger seats but i'm unsure what to do the the rear.

What options are there?

My buddy told me that i can use rsx or gsr rear leathers, but will they fit?

Let me know what you guys think! and possibly what you've done if you converted from cloth to leather

Or take the rears you have to an upholstery shop and have them re-wrapped.

I thought about doing that too but i think it'l be more cost efficient to just purchase new or used seats and do it myself. Shops are always trying to find ways to jack money from people

It's either that or you do what was already suggested by taking it somewhere to have it done to your existing seats. Your call.

If you are in Seattle, you could always take a weekend trip up to Vancouver and try and scout out the junkyards. Although at that point, you might as well have just paid to have your current seats re-upholstered locally.

If you want, I can ask the guy at our in-house upolstery shop what they would charge to cover Prelude rears in a ncie leather. Keep in mind, there are a lot of types of leatehr out there, I assume you're not after something exotic like the Rappers...

He has been on vacation for the last few days. I should have an answer by Friday.
Are you thinking regular or perforated leather?
I will see what options he has as far as quality as well.

I talked to another guy here about the seats:
He said about $100 in labor for 4 seats and the leather will run anywhere from $100++++
I told him you were trying to match it to HONDA leather and he said about $200 for the 4 pieces.

I replaced the stock cloth in my '01 with leather from Katzkin (sp?). Did the work myself, wasn't difficult, and I'm happy with the result. Lots of colors lots of options. I think I paid just under $700 six years ago.

so did you just buy the leather for katzkin and put em onto your cloth? sounds more difficult than it really is.

i called around some upholstery shops here in seattle and i got quoted anywhere from $1400 upto $4000

Here's the link to Katzkin. This ends the same as if you took it to an upholstery shop. If you do it yourself you'll need some hog ring pliers and rings. You remove the stock fabric covers and install the leather ones. I guess some people buy their product and take it to a shop and have it done. Took me the better part of a day. It was just work, nothing difficult.
