Default Sir2 vs USDM Civic

What exactly are the cosmetic differences between an Sir2 hatch and a USDM Civic Si hatch (92-95). I know that the engine is different. I looked at pics and i can't tell any differences on the outside. The interior looks slightly different (the console where the cupholder is) has a connecting piece with something in there (if anybody knows what, do tell) and the gauge cluster is slightly different. Any other differences people? Exterior or interior? Thanks

SiR and SiRII are different cars. 1992-1995 had both.

SiR looks very much like our USDM Si, but it came with:

Alloys
Clear corners
Plastic nipple-less headlights
Reflectorless tail lights
Rear wing had longer, slimmer 3rd brake light
Interior is totally different. Rear seats fold down flat. Too many differences to list inside.

SiRII added:

Paint-matched side moldings, ABS std. probably some more BS diofferences.

Both came with 4-wheel discs and the exact SAME B16A.

This is why I get annoyed when I see "SiR" as "first-gen" B16A and "SiRII" for second-gen hydro B16A swaps. An "SiR" could still be a second-gen hydro swap.

thanks man. I did not know that. I guess that's why there's a 6th gen "SiRII" also. I always thought it was a generational thing. Now it all makes sense.

Oh and if I'm not mistaken power windows and doorlocks were an option or maybe even standard too.

Rear Tinted Glass w/ wiper
Side Markers
Clear Corners w/ amber inserts
Longer Wing that slopes slightly upward w/ long LED brake light (colored matched to car)
Color matched side moldings
Color matched powered folding side mirrors
Plastic "nippless" headlights that have "city lights"
"reflectorless" tail lights

The SiR has alloys, the SiRII doesnt, The SiR has a lip, the SiRII doesnt, ABS (rear discs)

Interior has power windows, sunroof, mirrors, door locks, audioconsole. Gathers rear speakers

Rear interior is completely different (panels, trunk, sotrage area) everything is plastic panels in the rear, no cardboard or fabric stapled to it. The seats are all one color no patterns.

White Gauge clusters w/ amber lighting and higher RPM read out and higher readline w/ TCS indicator

Amber lite automatic climate control

Amber lite clock

3- spoke leather wrapped steering wheel

coin pocket in the dash.

over head map light, and i belive they also have 3 sunvisors (1 small one in the middle)

tweeters

road flare

and i think they have power atennas

That's all i can think of now.

the siR drivers are japanese and the usdm drivers are american.
Im american.

Im not sure thay came with power antennas, the center visor or tweeters. They did come with provisions for mounting 6 50mm speakers though one in each door and two on each side in the back.

Check my sig. There are interior and exterior pics there.
