Default Will 16 X 7.5 rims fit a '97 Civic coupe?

I was given a pair of 16" X 8" Niche chrome rims off of a '90 Integra. I would like to put them on my '97 Civic coupe. Will these fit? If so, what tires size should I use? I know little about this subject and would greatly appreciate any advise offered.

Thank you.

215/45-16 or 205/45-16. depending on how low your car is and the offset of the wheels you may need to roll the fenders and/or use a camber correction kit.

Thank you, the car is stock height. I'd like to use 205/50's. Can I?

yes, 205/50 is okay for that width but using that size on your car will affect your speedo by about 3% and depending on offset, the tires may stick out from the fenders slightly.

i know you want to use a profile that will fill up your wheel well slightly.. am i correct?

If you're buying tires, get 205/45-16 or 215/45-16.

If you're buying used wheels and they already come with 205/50-16, go ahead and use them if they don't rub. But when you need to replace the tires, get 205/45 or 215/45.
