Exedy Clutch Enough For 200whp?
Im almost done with my build and was wondering if my clutch would hold for a bit. Its an Exedy stg1 and its about a year old. My build consist of
GSR Block
LS crank, rods, ARP bolts, JDM ITR pistons, B16 head, JUN3 camshafts, VS/Retainers, VictorX manifold, Hytech headers
Looking to make atleast 200whp, idk about torque, but im guessing you guys would know?
I was just wondering if I would be able to run on the exedy clutch for a while until i save enough for a clutchmasters kevlar full-face. The only real issue I have is, I dont want to mess up the clutch launching the car on slicks/drag radials. Chasis is also a DC integra, DD, full weight. So what do you guys think?

Not totally disagreeing with you, but I ran 12's with my stage 1 and even pulled a 1.80 60 ft. Still working good to this day but I usually don't suggest it for slicks and hard launching!
i was running over 200whp and over 175ftlb of torque on a new Exedy oem replacement clutch. i took it out after 6-8 months of DD and track (car was trapping 107mph, best run of 13.2) and it looked brand new.
so if you use an exedy stage 1 racing clutch you should be MORE than fine.
