Default metal against metal schreeching sound

today my friend installed my hawk ceramic pads and brembo blank rotors on my 2000 civic EX. after the install ive noticed a screeching sound when i take right turns or when going over bumps. is there anything that could have been done such as over tightening that could cause this sound....

also i had my inner and outter tie rod boots replaced about a month ago due to them being torn. i noticed tonight one is leaking but just a little bit. could that have anything to do with it?

anti-rattle clips may have slipped off and are rubbing your rotors! I just fixed this on my EM1

rattle clips likely... or, did you put a pad on backwards?

also, did you machine your rotors, or put new on? if you're using the same old unmachined rotors, you are likely burning off the rusty lips on the edges of the rotors, causing the noise...

i put new rotors on....ill check the rattle clips. arent those just the little pieces that hold the pad onto the caliper?

its not really a rattling noise....imagine your rotor being turned and you taking something metal and rubbing it against it....thats the best way i can describe it.....hopefully ill figure it out later tonight

That or the dust shield is rubbing. You might have bent it

Aren't you supposed to "bed in" the brakes on the new rotors?

sort of, it's recommended to do like 6-10, 0-30mph light brake applications to kind of wear them in. also to op did you clean off the blanks with brake clean before installing?

yea 6-10 35-0's and like 4 45-0's....

i figured out the problem.....it turned out that the dust shield was rubbing the rotors on the bottom....just bent it out a little bit and were all clear now. thanks to everyone who gave suggestions!
