Hey everyone. Starting up a build thread, again, this time with my 1992 Honda Civic Si hatch. I know im well known for changing cars but i think this will be my last for quite awhile. 1-My GF will kick me out if i even think of selling it. 2-I think ive owned almost every bodystyle already. 3-Why not settle down with an Si? 4-My gf has the title. lol

anyway, on to the car. 92 Si hatch.

swap? looks nice from the outside

 

its kinda rough but it will all be cleaned up! got rid of the "Si" style tails and swaped in stocks. got some rear seats. and hopefully pickin up an armrest. updates and pictures soon!

the engine bay is sooooo cluttered i dont even like looking at it. holding off all work pertaining to the engine bay til the Y8 gets here. plan is to pull the motor, do a "tuck" engine harness. and tuck a bunch of other stuff under the hood too. then? idk. lol stay tuned everyone! let me know what you think. more parts on the way!

update!
selling my strut bar and sunroof visor. strut bar isnt that special nor important right now. and the sunroof visor is just too much imo.

did some research and installing my JDM climate control will be near impossible. JDM climate control is electronic like 99-00 civics. USDM civics are cable. and the JDM one has sensors so the "AUTO" function would work. sooo what im going to do is just swap the face plates and bulbs to give my hatch that JDM "look". but first i gotta find another climate control. my handles are all broken =S

Your eg makes me miss my old one, bro. Why are you aimin for a y8 instead of waitin and going b-series?

why get a Y8? bcuz it came with the car when i bought it. bought the car from a friend and he had a Y8 he was going to put in. but decied to give it to me if bought the car. so ya. his lazy azz hasnt dropped off the motor yet. + i really wanna go for looks. i want my hatch to look supa clean. and a Y8 is good enough for me. maybe far into the future ill do a K swap. thanks for the comments yall! stay tuned!

 

Good luck man, good start. The bay looks a lot like nine, just mine is cleaner but still looks similar. Check out my build! What are you plans for this?

 

plans for the bay is to swap in a Y8 and do as much tucking as i can. ill clean it up. give it time. lol
