Default tranny tech question

Ok first of all let me explain my honda history lol, I've been into hondas for about 3 years now and all my mods have been external, for example intake, header, manifolds, and as of lately i boosted my b20.I've been learning alot about internal work like removing and installing the heads also upgrading parts such as valves, cam ect,now with the being said my question is of a learning nature.I have a 92 Da9 integra with a b20b motor mated to an ls cable tranny,my question is how can i tell the difference between a cable tranny and hydro tranny?what should i be looking for?can i switch to hydro on my teggy and will it be of benefit to me in doing so?

Default Re: tranny tech question

IMO the cable tranny is better..you can tell the difference because the hydro has a slave cylinder, and the cable tranny of course has a cable. if you google cable tranny and hydro and just look at them you will be able to tell the difference.not that hard.
