unidentified disconnected wire

Default unidentified disconnected wire

i dont know what this wire does but its no connected to anything

Have you followed it under the dash to see where it ends? It was probably for some accessory like fogs or a alarm.

was gonna say ac maybe
also check to see if your radiator fan on the pass. side is hooked up
if somebody removed your ac in the past they could have cut the plug offf that wire and tucked it down into the bay

but just a guess

Yea judging by the way its zip-tied to those other wires i would say its for some aftermarket accessory that someone installed on your car in the past & removed later. That happens alot on our old EFs, lol.

i believe there was an alarm on the car in a previous life
i have no ac and it never had ac
However, ive been having radiator fan problems for a while, could it have something to do with that?
once i figure out my fan ill probably just rip it out

hate to thread-jack, but since were on the wiring issue, what is that black box on the + post on the batt with the 2 30a fuses? i dont have fuses on mine and everything works fine. is it ok to remove that cuz i need a new cable soon

lol. its for your seat belts.

and that seems to be a stereo setup i bet you it runs through ur driver side firewall and goes through a gay hole and ends up no where.
