Long story short I drove all the way to San jose acouple months back to buy the gsr motor off of him that was semi built with what he said had no problems at all..I just got done puttin the motor in my car and started to tune it when it started to smoke like a champ and had some serious piston slap I figured the smoke and piston slap would go away once the motor heated up and the forged pistons would expand boy was I wrong the smoke got worse and it was just sitting at idle due to tryin to tune the t1 1000cc's I then contacted him and he pretty much said tough **** a sale is a sale, I also contacted lsvtec408 aka Rigo who I met up with in San jose to buy the motor cause Man was busy that day Rigo a cool dude...Man aka JuggsxCOmanDO all I want is some or all my money back and u can have ur junk motor back...

 

Weird... that motor was fine/running with no problems the night before it got parted out.

sounds like you didn't prime the motor before you started it. how long was it sitting?

I made sure I primed the motor

 

And it sat in my garage for the 3 month untouched due to buyin and buildin my hatch

 

i can vouch for man, i seen this motor run, and also tune. it ran like a champ and made some good numbers..

was the motor siting with oil or the oil drained from the motor?..

ive heard of motors.. being drained and siitting around for awhile.. and when they are installed and re oiled.. they are ****ed from being drained.. and just sitting..

u have lots of people saying they heard this motor run MINT before he ripped it out.;.

it might have been dropped.. from point A to point B. to U..

or Just Bad Luck.. How can he be sure u didnt **** with it?.. u had the motor for MONTHS now.. and could be trying to get money back.. * shrugs* not saying ur a scammer.. Just saying.. people are ****ERS!

 

i made sure their was fresh oil to keep the bearings lubed up this is not my first time building a car, i emailed Man saying if he could at least paypal me some funds to buy new rings and ill find a new block to put the pistons rods and crank in, i just dont understand how having a motor sit in my garage (not messed with at all) can increase the piston slap...and im not a scammer either ive sold plenty of stuff on here and even shipped sleeved bottom ends to texas that are now running low 10s with no problems...im waiting on Man to paypal me the money to resolve this issue which he said he would once he gets funds
