Try an O-ring that goes in the inside of of the rim...it makes sure the wheels are flushed perfectly on. And make sure your tires are torqued correctly when put on. Sometimes wheels are perfectly balanced but still shakes because of how you mount them to your car.

Get an alignment, that should help alot.

If the wheels still feel unbalanced, take it to a shop that has one of these:

The Hunter GSP9700, best damn wheel balancer in the business, the only way to have a wheel balanced. To let you know how good this works, I had my tires balanced by the local tire store, they felt good, then I brought them to one of these for fun. The GSP uses a number system, lower the better, at the start all the rims were at 16-17 one being at 22. Balanced them on the machine, brought them all down to 4, amazing machine.

Link to website about the Hunter:
http://www.gsp9700.com/

They have a site locator so you can find a shop or dealer that has one

both places i've worked at had that machine, as well as my school, i love that machine, its simplified, does almost everything automatically, and has a great phase matching system, if its not phase matched right itll tell you exactly how much to rotate the tire on the rim. its awesome

As noted above there are machines designed to get it really close. I know of 2 tire shops that use well cared for machines and the techs are very good at it. Sometimes the tire itself needs to be moved on the rim to get it closer. I shoot for a maximum of 1.25 ounces total of stick-on weight. The Prelude just got a set of RE730s mounted on the AR 16x7 Carrera rims (Motegi MR12) and it was a pain to do-but very very close or below the maximum. BTW: Some shops will use stick on weights in 2 places and the machine is set up for that versus a single weight location. You might want a "dynamic" versus 'static" balance which this is according to Hunter. Wheel alignment, tire pressure, brake condition-never use air tools with disc brakes to install a wheel are all factors in handling and feel.
Enjoy the ride

Heh, yeah I guess it was, but it's one machine I'll always use, it's just that good.

Whoa, that was a plug and a pitch, put together. I wonder who has one of these in FL?
Well Jimmy, thanks to their innovative website, you too can find the nearest owner of one of these fine pieces of equipment. It's just as simple as entering your zipcode and in an instant you get locations and phone numbers of the locations nearest to you!

Where on Earth do I get these, everyone says "get them"? How much are they usually?
http://seriousauto.com/ has them. $20 for a set of 4 15" to 17".

Just click on Miata accesories and then click on Rota wheels and choose any wheel and theyre on the lowerhalf of the wheel page.
