Default suspension help

here's the setup:

05 rsx-s
dropped on unknown springs and stock shocks (bought it that way)
2 finger gap front and rear
stock rims and tires

the steering wheel shakes above 70mph so i took it in for an alignment a few weeks ago and they said they couldnt do anything about the front but they fixed the rear. i forget the numbers but they werent horribly off either way. im confused as i've been reading old threads and everyone's saying that with a drop this small camber kits werent needed. so i guess what im asking is what's a good camber kit? im used to 5th gen civics and 3rd gen tegs so the rsx's macpherson strut design is still foreign to me.

and to add insult to injury, last week im on the highway doing about 65 when i hear a loud slapping noise coming from the front passenger side. pull over thinking it's a flat but there's no obvious puncture. pull the tire off and the inside edge was worn down so bad it went down to the belt and basically tore a strip about a foot long off and it was just hanging there. looked at the driver's side tire and it's worn down pretty bad too.

so now im down almost $600 for a new set of tires. and looking into camber kits. **** me.

Sounds like the tires were the problem in the first place. Replace those and see how much better it gets. Tires can really make the biggest difference in ride quality.

In what condition are the shock... if you are running stock shocks they won't last very long with a drop.

your shocks are screwed....this is the same thing that happened to me, i couldnt get above 80 without the car shaking violently....bad shock and struts with lowering springs = new suspension setup.... oh and i would look at Ingalls front camber kit

it's not a really violent shaking. at 70 the steering wheel vibrates slightly. as speed increases the shaking gets heavier.

gotta wait till tomorrow to get my tires. i'll see how it drives after that. i'll have to wait a little longer to get new struts but they're my next big purchase i suppose.

if you need the front, i think this is fine http://www.clubrsx.com/cr/ING-81280.html
unless you upgrade your suspension and get camber plates
