As many of you know that have different country's gauge clusters in your car, that when you hook them up the coolant gauge sometimes shoots all the way to the hot region and stays there when the key is turned on. I recently bought a 00-01 UKDM Cluster for my 00 ITR and had this problem. I also had this problem when putting in a 98 Spec JDM ITR cluster in my old 01 ITR

One way to fix it is to switch the green circuit bored in the back of the cluster from the USDM one to your "whatever D-M" one. I said "f*ck that." So any way with help from this link:

I moved the D8 Temp pin to the D7 Slot and moved the Ground that was orginally in the D7 slot to the D5 slot on the clip. I just followed the circuit bored for the ground, that's how I determine it was correct. Everything works perfect on the cluster now.
