Most people use ITBs on all motor set ups from what Ive seen. I havnt heard of anyone using a boosted set up with ITBs on a S2000 yet.

for the $3000 it costs for ITB's and tuning, the 20 whp is not worth it IMO... might as well save up for the J's race engine... http://www.speedalliance.com/catalog...at=2740&page=1

So you can just bolt up a Toda ITB and get tuned and get 20hp? Just a tune? No other modification? There is a Toda ITB up here asking 1700.00.

gotta buy a kpro and AEM. Then do you have a exhaust already and any other mods. ITBs alone would feel like a waste.

well yea around 3000 is right. i paid 1600 for twm without injectors. you add injectors for 300-500 bucks. intake manifold gasket 45 bucks, vacuum block 30 bucks. aem ems 1000-1300 bucks. and atleast 4 or 5 hours dyno/ tuning. yea around 3000. done and running good.

itbs can do alot with the right mods and the right tuner. people say they are more of a "bling" or "baller" thing to do. which in a way is kind of true. im doing them just because i always wanted to do it. im not expecting any huge gains at all....its just nice.

well it looks like im getting the same info as other people...

and its gonna cost another 2k or so in a good header, TP, and exhaust...

so for 5k youre getting around 40 whp... just ITB's yeah, 20whp is reasonable... show me some dyno sheets that prove me wrong...

so far my itb setup has cost me about 100$
Throttle bodies can be found on ebay for cheap and easily turned into something for a car.
A lot of people are going to be tuning anyways so you cant really say that is an ITB cost.
Same with injectors, you need those regardless.

my motor is getting build right now its on itb's ,sleved, i beem rods, ross pistons, stage 3 cams, skunks valve springs and retainers, alot of head work, its going to be 12:1 compression with a little 80 shot. and its going to be worth every penny when its done.

itb's ecspecially on s2k's are not about big power, there for throttle response, if you want big power and are willing to spend the 3 to 5k, just buy a turbo setup and be done with it

or honestly you can spend 1000 $ to piece together a turbo kit w/ a nice size turbo and make 450 rwhp on a stock block.

I hope this is a joke... I would love to see that happen!!! the cheapest you will find ANY EMS system for is 700. Here is a short list of everything I could think of in 2 minutes.

turbo
ems
manifold
waste gate
dump tube
down pipe
blow off valve
oil lines
inter cooler
inter cooler piping
cuplers
t or v bands
injectors
fuel pump
vaccum lines
boost selnoid
tapped oil pan
random screws and brackes

Well first of all you asked for a dyno graph so i gave you one...

I can afford it but rather not waste my money on something that will only give me 20whp...

you said that theres no way it will give only 20whp for 3k... i proved you wrong...

just face it, your a dreamer... your not gonna get an ITB setup so stop wasting everyones time... do you even own an S???

Uhh, did you even bother reading the post he linked to? Seems to me he works at a shop and installs ITBs, mostly Jenvey.
