i installed a chip in my p-72 ecu bout 2 months ago. i parked my car few hours later i go to leave and car starts actin funny tryed to rev theirs my limit 3000 rpm so i took the ecu apart and seen that the j1 circuit looked burnt not all the way around but the relay or what ever it is was black. my question is can i fix it or do i have to buy a new ecu if so any one selling one
You will need to post a picture of the affected area. cSaying "looked burnt not all the way around ... it is was black," wont really help give you a yes/no answer. Depends on the damage.
Find another donor ECU to provide the part, or send it to a knowledgable chipping person and have them repair it if they can.
