FS: EK9 JDM Window Visors (Rain Guards)
SOLD - Please Delete
Hey guys,
After months and months of sitting in my room it's time to sell these. I have a pair of EK9 JDM Window Visors in great condition for sale. They were only on my car for a few winter months but now I'm looking to sell my civic and this is the last thing I have to part out.
Overall they're in great condition with no cracks in the plastic and the weather stripping is in new condition. The plastic itself does some some swirll hairline scratches but if you've own a pair this is always expected. These can only been seen from a perfect angle and even then they're almost impossible to see. There are NO major or deep scratches.
The only down side is I'm missing (1) "H" bracket and (2) of the plastic screws. The "H" bracket is the second from the top and honestly it must have just fallen out of the box and I can't find it. The black plastic screws fit the visor to the brackets but if you just go to Home Depot and pick up some small black metal screws for $1.29 they will replace the plastic ones without issues. In fact I would recommend you buy small black metal screws as the plastic ones are a pain in the *** to install.
FAQs:
Q: Where can I buy a new "h" bracket?
A: I've seen the hardware set posted on ebay every now and then but not in a few months. I haven't put much time in searching the web but it might be kind of hard to find a new hardware set.
Q: is the "h" bracket important?
A: All brackets are important but out of them the "H" isn't as important. The visor will still fit fine you you'll want to find a way to secure this section of the visor. I would recommend for a quick fix use double sided tape until you find a bracket
Q: Can i found something at Home Depot to replace the "H" bracket?
A: Home Depot has everything so yes. If you are handy and have an hour I bet you could bend some thing metal to make it work. Remember the other side has the "H" bracket so you can use that as a template. I would recommend going to a metal shop and asking them to do it for you.
Q: Don't the bracket screw into the door frame?
A: Only (2) brackets screw into the door frame. The first one on the top and the last one. This two brackets are the main supports of the visors. And yes I have these brackets and the screws that go into the door frame.
Seattle area only and I'm available Sunday to pick up. PM me. First come first serve.
