"HOW TO?" re-wire 92-95 oem fog lamps so they light up anytime?
i have oem fog lamps on my civic that were installed at the dealer, only thing is they light up only w/ my low beam head lights (they said they had to wire it that way cause of the law
) anyhow my ? is does anyone know what wire to snip or reconfigure to make em light when ever i want?

heh, i almost failed inspection because of that...however my friend was the one inspecting my car and passed me anyway- Id like to know which is the low beam wire so I can tap into that...if you want ur fogs to come on anytime wire them to your parking lights, thats how mine are
Remove the cutoff relay that is triggered by the high beams. THAT will be a feat to trace down though.
I had to wire in a cutoff relay so I'd pass Virginia State inspection for my non-OEM foglights (that look just like Honda's - even fooled the dealership).
Good luck.

i didnt know there was a law about this...who inspects them and when? when you get pulled over?
same law here, stupid one, but if you wire the fog lamp relay to work when the parking lamps come on, then they will stay on all the time. at least they should. for some reason mine don't any more?????
i think it's a federal law, not sure. theyre not suppossed to come on w/ your high beams i guess so you dont blind other drivers. id like them to come on anytime i want, with or without the parking lights/low beams.

I also want to wire my OEM fogs to come on with just the parking lights / whenever I want them on.
The instructions on majestic honda allow them to come on with the headlights

Anyone with information on how to do this? I see plenty of vehicles riding with fogs / parking lights at dawn
Someone post to this, please.

I'll find the write-up. There's a few other write-ups floating around the 'net that cover how to do it.
If you want them to come on with the parking lights, splice them into the parking light wiring. If you want them to come on at anytime you want them on, run a wire straight from the battery or a 12v source thats always hot in the car.
Good Luck,

If you want them to light up to your parking lights and not your headlights, plug the positive (+) of the switch into the option input where your underdash fuses are.
If you want them to light up any time, then just find a constant power source to tap to with the positive (+) of your switch.
NOTE: The positive (+) of your foglamps should already be directly connected tot he positive terminal of your battery with a fuse in between.

if you want them to only come on when you want them to, just wire them up to a switch of some sort. dont have them connected to the low beams any more, just the switch that you have.
should be it.
should be it.
