my friend has a 94 acura integra ls and we put a jdm b 16 in long time ago. all the sudden the car stoped working and there is no spark. we changed the coil and the module and still no spark. the engine check light is only throwing code 21 which is vtec and thats it. what else could be the problem. also when i took the spark plugs out it was really black and smelled like gas.

 

Bad brain? Bad ground? How's your cap+rotor?
If not you might need a new distributor the tdc sensor might have fried

 

when you say bad brain, you mean the ecu? i changed the ecu but still didnt start. the cap and the rotor seems fine. so i am just left with replacing the distributor. is there anything else that could cause no spark?

 

A snapped timing belt would cause no spark.
