You have the 3rd generation Prelude Carburated model. The chassis is interchangable with all 88-91 models, however; you can not do anything Fuel injected wise with this model until you swap all engine and interior wiring, as well as the fuel return line, Si fuel tank with fuel pump.

Its a big undertaking. Just in case you asked the question if you could swap parts between the 88-91 Preludes.

If you are just using it for daily driving with no aftermarket, then you are in good hands, but make sure you find someone who can work on Honda carburators, they are not easy to work with and parts are harder to find since most of the parts are discontinued.

If you decide you want to swap out to Fuel Injection then go to pre lude power.com(no spaces) there is a huge online following with write ups and pictures for just that type of swap.

And email me(email in my sig below) should you want to know what new aftermarket is availble for the 3rd gens.

The extremely basic question has been answered. We can let the thread die.

I guess the Chassis ID would be BA4/BA5. Correct?

i get confused because of the switch in the middle of the generations, do you have the a20 like in the 3rd generation accord? there is a lot that can be done to it. Check at three geez for the third generation accord, there's been a lot done with the FI a20. there is a cam available plus the pace setter headers and if you are really lucky you will find a used set of dc headers, we also have guys who have put turbos on them, and there's a lo of info on the site regarding that.

What are you talking about? The A20 engine came in 2nd generation Preludes, not 3rd. 3Gs all came with a B20 or B21.
