Default sticky throttle pedal

Hey all, my 99 EX has a very sticky throttle pedal, when going from closed throttle, your only option is to jump forward to ~20% throttle, and then going from 20% forward, it jumps again to about 35% throttle. After that its pretty linear travel. Im guessing its just a lubrication problem in the rotating shaft the pedal rides on, but i looked at my throttle cable too and the actual cable inside the liner has dirt and crap all over it. is that presenting a problem?

your probably getting stuck on something that is stuck to the actual cable itself....

disconnect your throttle cable completely and pull it out from behind the pedal as well...

once you have it out, get as much of the cable out as you can and clean it....

re-install and report back.....
