Basic transmission/clutch issue?
Hey guys I've got a stock 1990 crx hf. The other day I had the front up on jacks with the wheels off the ground with the car running and in neutral with the clutch in, the front wheels were turning slowly. I could stop them with my hands but when I let go they would start turning again. But when I depressed the clutch they stopped. Anyone know what's going on? I thought the clutch was just overtightened but the car was in neutral so it shouldn't matter. Help!
Oh wow I feel stupid. It's cuz I was dropping the engine.
One more thing though, whenever I was driving the car and depressed the clutch the RPMs would rise and then drop whenever I let go of the pedal. Any ideas what's wrong?

Ok first of all this applies whether or not the car is warmed up or not. The car's in neutral and just idling at 1k RPM. When I press down the clutch pedal the RPMs rise to 2k by themselves. If I let go of the pedal they drop back to 1k. Any ideas what's wrong?
hmm I've heard of that happening before, I think it has to do with your clutch being too tight or lose.
Im not exactly sure though.
Someone else should pop in and help lol.
