Default B18A1 INTO EG6

so i just purchased a B18A1 and im not sure what is needed to do the swap.

i thought the motor was an OBD0 but the ecu plugs right into my harness.

so would that make the motor an obd1? also would i be able to use my stock

motor mounts for the swap or would have to go aftermarket.

the car also came with a cable ys1 trans, but i have hydro clutch so do they

sell a conversion for that? im sure there

is a thread like this on somewhere in the forum but i couldnt find it so can

some1 please help me out

The ecu may be correct, but the shock tower plugs (on the motor) are different. you can use an odb1 ecu on odb0, but you will need some type of jumper harness to make it work.

Pics of what you have would be great, you can use stock motor mounts for 94-01 integra, but your shift linkage is different. your best bet is to swap for a hydro transmission, less headache. plenty of rex and ef guys out there looking for a decent trans.
