Anyone have luck with street tires on the track
Ive done ok with mine so far 205/50/15 falken ziex, 60ft varys from 2.08 to 2.14.
Stock mounts , no traction bar but i do have lsd .
Anywho im going to have to repalce these soon since they are gettign worn out ... and wanted to know if anyone had any good reccomendations ?
I will have another set of wheels with slicks but would like something that performs without having to change the wheels over.....lets say on a friday night at the track.
thanks

I ran my car once in the 350-400 whp range on regular street tires, 13.4 @ 118. With little slicks I went 12.2 @ 115 with probably only ~300 whp. Once you try slicks, you will never go back, they are so much more fun to drive on.
Street tires and front wheel drive blow. I guess steet tires on any car suck. Your best bet is getting m&h P235/60-15. It's possible to cut 1.8s and 10s on these, drive to and from the track.

you are going to have to Max your coilovers out just to get them to a cumfy ride height!!. Don't expect to make ANY u-turns.
I think your exagerating things a little bit, a friend has been driving around his EG on 236/60/15's and he has not one issue doing U-Turns or anything else for that matter, and IIRC he still had threads left on the coil sleeve to go up more.

i bought my car already equipped with knockoff adjustable coil overs and its adjusted all the way up and my 16x7 rotas with 205/45/16 rub. seems that many of u guys are using 15" wheels. is that y you are able to run 235/60 with rubbing no probs?
if it makes a difference my eg hatch with a b18c has 5" clearance from oil pan to ground.

12.2@124 here on 205/50/15 Nitto Neo Gens... i average anywhere from 2.0-2.1 60ft's Open Diff and stock mounts no traction bar.....i did see a 1.98 60ft Once but i didnt get to see the rest of the pass... These tires are pretty damn impressive for the price... @ 440whp they would dead hook 3rd gear on the street in a 2600lb integra.. They are quite soft and when you warm them up they do grip better! i probably have over 300 street tire passes with probably 4 or 5 different kinds of tires and these are by far the best Street tire ive tried... Yes any kind of Drag radial is going to be better but for the price and how long they last i dont think they can really be beat...
Not only that but you can still take some hard corners with them
