Synchromesh isn't really gear oil. Gear oil is too thick for Honda transmissions, but Synchromesh works fine.
Why not get 2 more bottles of Synchromesh and have all the same fluid in there? I personally would toss that bottle and use GM Synchromesh Friction Modified fluid (Pennzoil stuff is NOT the same). That's what I've been using for years, so I can't comment on how good or bad the Pennzoil stuff is.
My suggestion is either to go with GM Synchromesh Friction Modified (if you can find it) or the new formulation of Honda MTF. Don't use regular motor oil.
