Default type r swaped gsr need some help

i have 99 db8 and im puting in a type r motor. im having trouble finding the right heater hoses for this car. the specific hose im looking for goes from the heater valve to the the head of the motor. the heater valve that is on the car doesnt seem to be the normal one either. the other heater valves ive seen are 45 degress from the firewall but mine is parallel so that means the hose needs to be longer. does anyone know which hose i should buy?

thanks for the help

Any rubber hose with the correct width will work. Just go cut one out from Lowes or Home Depot 2ft is plenty.

did the same swap only in a dc2. had no issue, water temp sensor wires have to be extended. hose, i really can't remember. i either used my stock gsr one or used a length of goodyear hose from the parts store. any rubber hose will work so long as it's braided reinforced for the temperature and pressure. coolant hose is under $2/ft

actually, i'll be really helpful and get pics for you. okay, this is the stock hose off the valve out back BUT it's not necessary to buy a honda part at all for this. it's just a point A to point B hose with no trick bends. 3ft of hose will do you.

I highly doubt you will need 3ft but then again you could use it for something else.

it's somewhere closer to 2ft but a guy always buys long. especially when it's $1.50 a foot
