hi i'm doing a all out wire tuck, and i was wondering if i need that stock black air box(catch can) that the purge and tank hose goes to. this is for a 2000 ek hatch. i want to take it out and toss it and run my car with out it, if doing so what would i need to do so it won't cause a fuss to my car when starting it up again. do i need to block off any hoses? or join any hoses? thanks for your time and help.

If you remove it, since your OBD-2, I believe you will trip your check engine. I'd leave it and just run the hoses neatly. However I have one hose off mine currently and I have no CE. But i'm OBD-1 so that isnt a good comparison.
