ok i just got back from my granpops shop and there is a new class up at the oval track bridgeport.....its a 4 cylinder class for dirt...now we dont have all the particulars yet but id be driving and we just need to firgure out wut car we will be using...my uncle had a few ideas a mercury tracer awd ora pinto with a svo mustang motor light weight with a good power plant... that was his best one. i thought maybe a dsm awd talon or a galant awd i duno help me out here with some ideas as for a car

whats up man!!!!!!! check this down in fl a guy at a local dirt oval track track brought a 4 door 89 accord dx.he whipped up on all the american 4 cylinders and he was not liked there.the old red necks dont like a new guy beating them with a jap car.i went to one race one night,when he won and i heard the last time they all wre spinning him out.

only hing with a fwd layout the front wheels would spin when goin around turns and would take getting used to i guess thats why im askin u guys....maybe a rabbit gti or a fox i think the fox is rwd??

the wagovan is awd and its not really for racing basically junk to try and race with one

look for an old subaru w/ AWD. There is a guy that lives buy me who has one (not sure witch modle but i think it is a hatch back ) and he hauls *** threw feilds and ****. its pretty cool

 

You think that's bad? They have this thing here in Vermont called the Four Wheel Jamboree. It's a 4WD festival or some ****, and there's a tuff truck competition where you go try to break your **** on an obstacle course. Well, the rules state that the only requirement for the tuff truck competition is that the vehicle be 4WD. So what my buddy did was to go get an '87 Civic AWD Wagovan and entered it.

He didn't win.

He got 2nd place. No ****. You wanna talk about some pissed off rednecks? On one side, he spray painted, "IH8 V8" and on the other, he had "4DS SUK," ala- license plate style.

 

yeh i was walking around the yard and saw we had a subura but its a v6 and it has to abe a 4 banger....but maybe we will get one in soon

get a 4G wagon, AWD, slap a ZC engine, and boost that baby.....
that will be good and u will still be in the EF family!.

i duno it only puts like 10% or something low to the rear wheels and im not just a honda guy sorry to tell u i have owned a few f bodies before....working on a 33 chevy with my granpop also....and teh wagovan is a EY not even a ED...im thinking the pinto idea is pretty good or a VW beetle that we got in a few weeks ago dunno if it runs but thad be a sick car to
