I have a 93si (p28 ecu obd1) I bought a motor stamped b16a2 (obd2). Besides chipping the ecu do I have to change any wiring or get any conversion harnesses?

The plugs for the injectors, distributor, and alternator are different for the OBD2 engines. So you'll either have to use OBD1 B-series parts (your stock injectors will work fine), or you'll have to change the wiring for those 3 things, or you can use OBD2 parts and get an OBD2 Integra engine harness.

Nope. An OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness is for the ECU plugs only. Since novaslean has an OBD1 car, and is planning on using an OBD1 ECU, there's no need for a conversion harness.

 

thx ... yeah, I thought the conversion harness was for the ecu, have been getting some mixed info so I have been reposting to try to be more specific and straighten it out. thx again.
