Default Removed Cruise Control, Now Having Idle Problem

I removed the cruise control out of a 1997 Honda Civic LX and now it idles around 2,000 rpm's. It almost seems like the throttle pedal is sticking or something, any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Vacuum leak... did you plug the hole on the intake manifold after removing the cruise control?

Yes, I should have stated that it was pretty much just the removal of the cable that i did recently to finish off the entire removal and now it is idling weird...
