Default Radiator support for outlaw/street comp question?

I see everyone cuts the bottom portion of the radiator support and keeps the factory top portion. For street comp would I have to keep the entire thing? Someone brought it to my attention saying my setup was illegal. The only thing i added was a crome moly bar under the top portion for support. Thanks for the input!

I don't see why that would be illegal. It doesn't do anything but support your radiator support and maybe your IC.

That is perfectly fine. People have been eliminating the lower rad support for years.

Nice I did not know this was legal, is it legal for the 67mm class too? This saves me from buying a full rad support for my JDM conversion I can just buy the top piece and roll with it

if you are going to run NSCRA T/S class then you must have the stock upper & side rad support there. it dosen't need to have the latch, just there should be no tubes on top if you tube it to brace or mount a rad ot intercooler that is fine. but must have a working headlight and bumper must mount to it. if you meet this you're good
