Default B16 EF CAR WONT START!!!

Can any1 help me out on why it wont start? I finished building the b16 for N/A for now, and i took it for a lil test drive. It started smoking after 5 minutes, I noticed it was my kill switch wire that runs to the ecu. I guess its supposed to shut down my fuel pump? Anyhow, i turned the car off right away and once it stopped smoking i rolled back to my house i tried starting it again and nothing!!So can this be a fuse if so which 1? Hopefully i didnt fry my ecu, it doesnt seem like its burned up. Could it have been a ground shortage or something simple? Or what do you guys think????

just check all your fuses it dont take that long it can also be that you got melted wires from your bad wiring try your ecu on someone else car to see if it works and what is your car doing that it does not start does it crank? spark?fuel?

Ok ill check all the fuses and ill try the ecu on my friends car. If its not that should i get some1 to re-do the wiring? It cranks it sparks and all, but its going to be that kill switch. So thanks tomarrow ill check that. What if i wanted to get rid of the kill switch, how would i do that since its wired to the ecu? If its a pain nevermind.

I assume that you picked an ECU wire, cut it, and ran each end of the wire to the terminals on a switch???? In this case current and amperage rating of the switch are important because the switch will have to pass all that electricity. The removal is easy simply cut off the switch wiring and connect the wire back together as it was originally.

Because it is a new swap, you should really look over the wiring and be sure its correct.

After that start with the basics:

Check fuses
Do you see the check engine light/hear the main relay click?
Are you getting Fuel?

Well the car came this way, i got it with the kill switch and never gave me problems till last week. Everytime i flip the switch on i here the pump on from the gas tank, but since its been fried im going to see if i can hear it go on when i flip the switch on. If when i turn the switch on and i hear the pump working that means its still good, then it should be the burned up wire or fuses??
