vague ass del sol steering column wiring question.....
Trying to figure out what the small connector on the left side is with the red wires running from it go to. I am 90% sure it is SRS BS, and if so I can pull it all, but need to know for certain before I go cutting ****, lol.
3 wires coming off of it, 2 red, one yellow with a black box thing attached to it.... come on, someone has to know what it is....
SRS stuff will have yellow connectors. just curious is this small connector causing problems or you trying to save a gram or two of weight.
gram or two of weight....plus trying to take anything off the wiring harness that I can. Going to re-wire the whole car again after I tuck it and then probably do it again after that once more. The more I do this time the easier it is to do the next.

pull out the harness and if your giong to rewire it your already going about it the totally wrong way take some time and get a haynes or factory service manual with proper diagrams. or like the other guy said just think of what you need and remove everything else and if the stuff you kept doesn't work then analyze those circuits.
I have a haynes, but don't know where it is ATM. I am more trying to delete all the crap I don't need and will never need again first. The stereo and all the speaker wires have been traced and removed, most of the SRS stuff, and all of the defrost and fog light wires have been pulled. I removed the fog light wires because the PO spliced and cut and added onto them several times and I didn't like their condition, plus I don't have OEM fogs so if I add fogs I will run all new wire and relays and tuck it separately from everything else.
Well, I got the fuse box wired up and in the dash, everything works perfect... I unplug the 3 wires, and no change! WTF!!! Someone has to know what these damn things go to, lol!
