okay, ive just started looking into this so bear with me. hondaautomotive isnt much help, they only show the diagrams for cars w/ power windows...



i wanted to compare with a diagram of a DX, becuase i want to change over to NON power windows... anyone know what parts i will be needing to pick up from honda auto salvage?

Misa did this didnt he? anyone remember?

-mike, who can roll his windows up manually faster than the p o s honda pwer window units can.

arent part of the rails (i havnt had my door apart in a long time) pop riveted to the door frame??? that could be a pita if they are, but nothing too bad...

sure looks like thats all you need, but you'd need to find DX door panels or poke holes in whatcha got somehow.

 

i was planning on just drilling a hole for the crank thingy

 

i dont think its worth it....IMO

 

non power windows kick ***. I love having a DX.


Parts #1 and #2 are the only ones i see you needing....i am more than likely wrong though....

 

i kinda like powers just because i can lock em and keep mah brat from rolling them down. shes always messin around with the window back there...

hehe different concerns though

i dunno, looks like itll work... im going to see how much the parts are, then ill decide if im going to attempt it. ill keep ya guys updated.
