From the wear pattern on the tires, you should be able to tell whether this is happening from pavement wear (if it's smooth and rounded), or from actually rubbing on something (if it's not). If it's actually rubbing on something, jack that corner up, remove the wheel/tire, and look around the wheel well; you should find a spot that's obviously smooth and shiny. If it's not rubbing, it could be an alignment problem.

My guess is that you've lowered the car too much and that's the reason it's rubbing. If you don't want the tires to get "8" (or eaten ), then change the suspension so it's not lowered so much.

It's also possible you're using the wrong tire size, or wheels with the wrong offset. On an Integra, even if it's lowered up to 2", it shouldn't rub as long as the wheels have the best offset for clearance, with the proper tire sizes: 195/60-14, 195/55-15, 205/50-15, 205/45-16, or 215/45-16.

Is actual tread surface the thing being "ate" or is it the sidewall? If it is the tread surface I would also check your alignment, toe eats tires and if you lowered your car without getting it aligned afterwards the alignment is probably all out of spec.

Sounds like too much toe out. Get it aligned before you buy new tires. Toe should be at or very close to zero.

lowering vehicles.. causes the caster/camber and toe adjustments.. on the vehicles alignment to go Negitive.. which causes the inner tires to get eaten..

if ur car drifts to the left or rite, the TOE is needed to be adjusted.. camber adjustment just saves the tires from getting eaten up in the inner tires.. going more positive will save them..

getting a camber kit.. front and rear and a 4 wheel alignment will save ur tires.. or geting a front wheel alignment and using 2-4 washers with the oem bolts.. or using extended bolts for more of a aggressive positive camber/caster adjustment will Help.. and save u Money.. each washer is about .25 of a inch of positive camber/caster.. using two washers is .5 of a degree.. 4 washers is a degree..
