Default Spring rate and ride quality

I have crappy lowering springs on my car....sprint springs that are a 2.5 drop
I'm wondering what kind of springs to replace these with, I heard that a better spring rate will give you a better ride (not as bumpy all the time)
am I wrong? What is a good affordable spring>? I was thinking eibach or maybe neuspeed lowering springs

Replacing just the springs is only solving 50% of your problem...

Why not get stiffer struts too?

KYB/AGX are really cheap and they are 4-way adjustable.

What do you want? A nice ride when cruising? Or a nice ride when driving at the limit? You generally can't have both.

Bumpy ride comes from lack of suspension travel. You're basically sitting on the bumpstops. Lower it only 1" or use shorter bodied shocks.

It could also be caused by inadequate shocks/struts. If the spring rates are to stiff for the shock to dampen then you can have a bumpy ride. However, riding on a
2 1/2" drop the bumpstops are probably the cause.

its not a hard bumping...but on a bumpy road is like no stop bouncing...I assume its because the sprint springs are crap and also the car is lowerd on stock struts....would just getting new struts be better than getting springs and struts?
