actually according thumpu77 and then I later found out myself with the DX harness there is one sensor left over after you are dont with everything....now what kinda intake manfiold you used im not sure and I used a 90 SI intake manifold and I dont have a sensor......but I do have an open on the harness still and Im only throwing codes for a 02 sensor...cause mine is bad and I knew that.....it was before.....

Idle is going to be tricky might want to mess around with teh throttle calbe a bit...and you might even want to adjust the idle adjusting screw on the intake manifold by the t/b.

Ill try and help you as much as I can....I did this swap as well as a a6 head and im still having issues here and there but overalll Im very pleased.....my point is no body F-ing helped me well barely...so im going to help you so you dnot get pushed around and feel left out in the dark like I did.....

maybe we can learn somthing together.....

i'm using a 90 crx Si intake manifold same as yours. sorry you didn't get the help you needed bro but at least your car is running now. by the way how do i get the dx throttle cable out?? thats weird you don't have another sensor beside the EACV at the back ??? i don't got the throttle cable hooked up right now but i don't think thats it. i just hope its the IAT cuz i can replace that easily but i can't seem to get it off the mani.....i need everyone's help on this...

the other sensor is fast idle control.it does not do ant thing trust me,theres not code for it either.probly the iac.the air intake temp sensor wont make it run shitty.

ill tell you a quik way to find out! while running spray carb cleaner around the intake gasket where it blots to the head.allways use a new intake gasket,or any gasket.

if the only code is a 10 or air temp sensor, ill bet you its an intake leak,or vacum.

vacuum i'm sure its not but the manifold gasket is most likely. i got all the hoses hooked up right but i'm gonna get a gasket...hope thats the problem so it will be fixed. do you really have to torque the bolts cuz i don't how you can fit a torque wrench there and is there a sequence to tighten the nuts?? i went from inside to outside...

i have the same prob but only after i threw on an si trans. no codes, no vacume leaks, evac (iac) are new. im thinking coolant temp sensor or guage cluster (speed sensor).

the fast idle sensor on the back of the si manifolds are uselessthey dont need to be hooke dup to anything

oh man i'm starting to regret doing this now i'm thinking i'll just rewire everything back to dpfi cuz i can't figure out whats wrong. i haven't put the new manifold gasket on yet but i sprayed carb cleaner around the mating area except underneath . i sprayed the eacv with carb cleaner but all it did was make it idle around 2500 and bounce up and down between 2000 and 2500 rpms...guys what can be wrong this is so upsetting and depressing i can't get the IAT off the manifold but i guess i'll try one more time and install the new manifold gasket see what happens

if you spray carb cleaner and the idle jumps around its a vacume leak either in the manifold or a line or the evac etc.

don't listen to your dad! my dad said the same thing when i had a few problems, but i kept at it and the car runs better than before (he was amazed at the power increase)!

did you switch the 2 outside wires on the TPS during the swap? that could be your problem. also, double check all of your vacuum lines (also, check all your gaskets. did you use gasket sealer on them all? mainly the gasket for the manifold itself)?. as for the fast idle solenoid, you should have a plug with two wires, black/orange and blue/yellow i believe. you should solder the wires from the harness onto the fast idle solenoid, they go to the correct ECU positions for the solenoid.

guys i'm really stumped here....i don't what is making that loud horrible tapping sound... i pulled off the valve cover just to check and its fine...pulled the spark plugs and they are black by the way...i stuck a magnet in the combustion chamber to see if theres like debris in there that could cause the knocking and nothing...i don't know what else to check...i am so depressed...its like i killed my car or something that feeling....
