Default automatic seat belt dinging

on my 4 door, it has auto seat belts that dont work, but the seat belt light is always on, and it dings all the time, even if the seat belt is plugged in. how do i get the dinging to stop? you cant unplug the fuse to it, because its on the same fuse as the dash lights and what not.

I am not 100% sure about the 4 door, but my crx had some seatbelt lights near the rearview mirror. Inside that housing there was a plug going to a small circut board. there was a small black cylinder soldered on to the board which made the chime.

If this is where the chime is coming from on your car, you can unplug the entire board or remove the black cylinder that is responsible for making the chime.

there is a black box located behind the stereo mounted next to the firewall that has two plugs going into it...disconnect the green plug and the beeping will go away...!!!
