Gonzo's huge questionare thread.
I have a lot of questions and I may think I know a lot of the answers but instead of creating lots of threads, I decided to make one huge thread.
1988 Honda Civic DX hatcback.
Anyways, here we go.
I picked up a set of DA front and rear disc swap, front and rear knuckles, trailing arms, upper and lower control arms, blah blah blah. I know I need to upgrade to 15/16 or a 1inch brake booster and master cylinder and a 40/40 proportioning valve.**
** I know you have to go from a 10mm to a 12mm adapter fitting when going to a 1inch master cylinder.**
Now onto the first set of questions:
1. What kind of axles do I need to use to make this set up work or do I even need to change axles?
2. I am going to change to Stainless steel brake lines when I swap everything over, but do I use DA stainless Steel lines or do I use EF lines?
3. Can and will my stock EF shocks works? **
**I "know" everything will bolt up but I'm going to do everything on my first try and want to have everything before hand so there are no surprises.
I also was able to pick up a DA dash minus cluster and glove box. I do plan on using this dash and set up because it looks better in my opinion then the civic dash. Here are my questions.
1. Where can I find cluster swap information?
2. Will the cluster connectors mostly connect to the EF side?
Cliffs:
1. Tired of reading outdated links in the FAQ section.
2. Tired of reading half *** articles.
3. DA dash questions.
Hopefully this won't turn into a pissing match or anything, just answers. I just picked up the Haynes manuals for both the 84-91 and Integra 90-93 and Legend 91-95.
Thanks,
Taylor
