Ok. as most of you know, I floated a valve. We took apart my engine and the head is at the machine shop now.
I called Honda to get new valves and such.
They want $30 a pop for Intake valves and $26 a pop for exhaust.
They want $270 for a Gasket Kit
$50 for a timing belt
$140 for a tensioner

Now Im spending $200 so far for the Valve job and the clean and polish on the head.

I need to know if any one knows where to get these parts cheaper than the prices listed. Even if you have your stock valves and want to sell them to me (as long as they are not bent)

Any one that has any information on where I can get these items for cheaper please let me know. Thanks

 

Look up the parts here http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...KL5MT&catcgry5= They are usually less expensive by quite a bit. I am guessing you have a 96 vtec.

 

After market valves are going to be alot cheaper. I just rebuild the head on my friends 99 lude after the shop who installed her cams bent all 16 valves while installing the springs and retainers. Good luck.
