Ok. as most of you know, I floated a valve. We took apart my engine and the head is at the machine shop now.
I called Honda to get new valves and such.
They want $30 a pop for Intake valves and $26 a pop for exhaust.
They want $270 for a Gasket Kit
$50 for a timing belt
$140 for a tensioner

Now Im spending $200 so far for the Valve job and the clean and polish on the head.

I need to know if any one knows where to get these parts cheaper than the prices listed. Even if you have your stock valves and want to sell them to me (as long as they are not bent)

Any one that has any information on where I can get these items for cheaper please let me know. Thanks

how much do you want for it?

 

the complete unit is going for $700. that includes the complete intake manifold, valve cover, valvetrain, tb, rail, injectors.
shipping would be on top of that.

 

i have some stock valves if you need them....i upgraded to Ferrea SS valves and i took the stockers out....$10 a piece if you are interested

 

where do you live.. i need them by thursday morning..
and they are for the h22a right?

 

carquest and napa carry them or can order them. they are all honda. most times they are same parts as honda your just paying for names. i got some just to see and it was the exact same thing.

 

$10 a piece? For USED stock valves? I can get SS for $15.

hey, it was worth a try...honda charges $30-$22 for new valves so i just threw out a number....i didn't know what to charge for them

I will give you $30+ shipping over night if you can get them to me tomorrow.
All I need are exhaust valves.

if you only need exhaust valves, then i only got 3....the other 5 got bent from a misshift....i got all 8 good intake valves but that probably won't do you any good
