'Drag' wheels, junk?
they seem really cheap. not sure if theyre good or if theyre like OBX crap off ebay.
shopping for rims, its a toss up between bronze or gold with a polished lip. itll be on a olive green ej1. not painting it for another month, so i have time to decide on rims. pics are always appreciated ;D

^ not really, there are tons of people that have slips, yet they have been very well known to break.
just my 0.2 but i really cant stand drag wheels, but its your car do what you want.

i think bronze looks better on the green, but i dont want them to be confused for black. too many ricers locally w/ spray painted black rims, etc. im tryna keep it jdm ;D
the gold/polished look nice with the polished towhooks, but the gold seems too bright on the green.
[i played around with a 6th gen coupe on forza 2, messing with colors lol]

well i dont have the kind of money for some mugen replica 700 a piece wheels etc, nor do i wanna ghetto spray a set of gsr blades. hah w/e, ill just keep shoppin around i guess.
Just get Rotas. Drags are mostly Rota copies anyway. Any wheel can break. The chance of a wheel breaking on a street car is very low. Rota supplies OEM wheels to many brands worldwide. Why pay more for something that makes little difference on a street car.
you just said get rotas, but "why pay more for little difference" would mean to get drags.
i use to have some drag wheels not bad IMO sold them and got konig heliums. Really they arent bad wheels ppl hate on them bc they are copies of other wheels. If you cant afford the baller wheels then get them. Hell you can get diff. center caps and i bet you could trick some ppl and say they are real deal lol
I have owned 2 pairs of slips for longer then 2 years, unless you have proof I don't see your .2
The only "proof" of them breaking is that picture of the idiot that hit a curb at hi speed and broke the center out.
tired of seeing that same picture and people saying they always break, any wheel can break if their's an idiot steering them. many people run drag wheels on this forum, haven't heard any bad things other than they're knockoffs. i personally think charcoal slips would look hot on an olive green ej
The Mugen replicas are only about $500 dollars for a complete set of four wheels.
well right now the car is black w/ black wheels, i think the company is jwl? its some random ghetto race wheel company, they were alloy and previous owner did some "autozone powder coating" lol. im tryna stay away from the black wheels thing, ive seen gold wheels on spannish green civics, but i cant find bronze wheels on a green civic anywhere.
