Terribly sorry if this is covered but Ive been on this forum nonstop for the past two days straight and didnt see this question anywhere.....anyways..... I just purchased a 1999 Civic Ex, I PLAN on converting to OBD1, funds permitting, and was wondering if anyone was familiar with Mansur's TunerPro RT? and would it for any reason not be compatible with a Moates.net Autoprom for datalogging on an obd1 honda ecm? I guess from what ive read the most versatile platform would be the P28...correct me if Im wrong. Thanks guys!

 

Seems like you'd be wasting your time trying to use TunerPro when there are so many other perfectly working alternatives..

yeah right after i posted that i realized it was pretty pointless to ask lol. it doesnt even have vtec control built in haha. do crome and uberdata have "masks" that you load into the interface to read certain binaries from certain ecu types? or is it more universal?

oh and another question, i just thought of it and havent checked pgmfi yet to see if the answers there so just ignore me if it is......but for compressor maps and flow calculations blah blah blah, what can i figure as the best volumetric efficiency figure for my completely stock d16y8, assuming all mechanical parts are in good working order. one book ive read depicts a chart saying: OHV- 80% OHC- 85% OHC w/ some sort of VVT- 95%

but 95% seems awfully high to me as an all around VE figure... what says you?
