Morning bump.
Common, I'm sure someone's installed a fuel gauge. I can't be the only one in the world that broke a needle in his cluster. I just need to know what wire in the engine harness i could tap into for the fuel sensor. I've opened my cluster already and tried every wire in it and none seem to work. I think i just have to tap in directly into the fuel sensor wire. Anyone?

The fuel sending unit is in the tank. It would be easier to replace that than to nstall that new gauge. Take that back and pay for a new sending unit.
the sending unit is under your back seat there is 4 screws to remove the cover plate then its like 8-10 10mm nuts that you remove then there it is

I guess i'll try that now, Hopefully it will work. I'm already in this $60
Well, ****..I've tapped into all the wires going into the sensor. The only wire that worked just gives me a fuel reading when i'm stopped..Then when i press on the gas it goes all over the place.. Any ideas of where i should tap the wire to, To get an accurate reading?
Does anyone think i should just remove my cluster and try tapping into all the wires that went into my fuel gauge again? Cause i did it before and didn't get a reading..Anyone know what color wire to be looking for?

Um, your problems would be over much faster if you just replaced your OEM fuel gauge in the cluster ... rather than farting around with an aftermarket thing? No?
Yeah, I thought of that i'm sick of buying aftermarket ***** for my car but you can't just replace the only gas gauge in the cluster it's not a gauge face..The needle is on the cluster itself i would have to buy a whole new one and that's expensive.
if it does not have a tach, only the speedo and a big coolant and big fuel gauge, then ill send you a fuel gauge for $25 shipped anywhere in the 48 lower USA
Well, I guess i'm not going to get my answer from anyone. So i'll just save up for an oem cluster thanks all!
Cheers.

Lol, Thanks but it's cool i'll just save up..What i'm most pissed about is that i can't return this gauge back..It's too much of a hassel.
