Default Open Cat? Bad?

Hey, so i'm picking up my HKS cat-back and T1R testpipe tomorrow morning. I'm wondering if i unbolt the cat-back portion tonight and drive it to work (for fun) is that bad or hard on the motor? Will it trigger any CEL? I'm guessing not but i thought i'd ask the infinitly wise honda crowd.

yes it will trigger a CEL for your O2. You'll blow through gas, it will smell horrendous. Just wait a day

Not a good idea, loud as F(*& but it wont hurt the motor.
