Default LS Springs & Shocks into my EG6?

I have a friend that is willing to give me his LS springs & shocks and LCAs (since he swapped his for ITR), is it worth the trouble to swap into my '94 EG6? Are the spring rates heavier in an LS? What about the ride height? I'm looking for ITR parts but these are free!

Most likely it will jack the hell out of your car.

The struts aren't a bad idea, but the springs will certainly make the car ride higher than it already does. The rates are desogned with a 2500-2600lbs. Integra, not a 2100-2380lb. hatch like yours.

Now if you plan on getting coil-overs then you could get Integra rates, but really with coil-overs it's best to just go ahead and buy new stiffers truts or your ride will be bouncy because the O.E Honda struts (especially miled up ones) cannot handle such stiff springrates too long. Really they cannot control such stiff springs to begin with.

I just put 99 si shocks and springs on my 95 hatch and the difference is incredible. My car rides maybe 3/4 higher in the back and I neer checked the front for before and after. Even though the ride height has been jacked up, the car handles a lot better. It stays really flat through turns and it isn't that much more of a harsh ride on the street. It feels a little crisper around town. If you want Typr R stuff, A guy named Tinkfist is selling some stuff cheap. With Type R stuff, your ride height should stay the same because I think those springs are lower than ls.

Yes but the Si and ITR use Honda's progressive valving technology in their struts - the LS does not.

Plus I'd think the Si and ITR springs are a tad lower and stiffer than the "luxo" model LS stuff.
