I got a 86 honda crx from a guy on craigslist. think it is a junkyard frankenstien. When you take off falls on face. replaced fuel filter drained and refilled tank with gas e10 also. replaced cap and rotor. Used a half a can of b12 on carb. Any fresh ideas would be welcomed. gonna get on bass boat and think about what to do next.

Check the cam timing. When the cam belt gets old, it might slip a tooth and make it run as you have described. Also, check for vacuum leaks.

There is a factory service manual online at www.redpepperracing.com
