I got a 86 honda crx from a guy on craigslist. think it is a junkyard frankenstien. When you take off falls on face. replaced fuel filter drained and refilled tank with gas e10 also. replaced cap and rotor. Used a half a can of b12 on carb. Any fresh ideas would be welcomed. gonna get on bass boat and think about what to do next.

Check the cam timing. When the cam belt gets old, it might slip a tooth and make it run as you have described. Also, check for vacuum leaks.

checked the timing and and put a vacum guage on it the timing was on and had 20 inches of vacum then it warmed up and dropped down to 10 to 12 inches of vacum making me mad i know those boxes on firewall is full of vac switches do they go bad often and what controls them don't think car has ecm thinking of cuttin off vac lines and pluggin them off any more ideas anybody oh i did advance timing 12 degrese to get vac back and ran better know that is too much guess would be easier to just buy 50 ft of vac line and re do it all
