As long as you have it installed using all Greddy parts and you've got the CARB sticker, it's legal. Depending on the cop, the circumstances around being pulled over, etc, they may hassle you, but they'll do that with something as little as a CARB legal intake. In the end, you'll be legal and you'll be able to prove it if they try to lay a fix-it ticket on you.

^ hes correct, my friends brother lives in socal and he has a greddy turbo kit, in his gsr swapped 99 coupe, he gets pulled over every now and again but has never had to pay a ticket for the modifactions done, however he has been given tickets for them, but hes always proved its 100% legal.

If you are that worried about TURBO C.A.R.B.ness get a SC. Its street legal also. But if u have a swap and dont have a BAR sticker you will get popped for either one. Sux that here in cali cops have nothing better to do than tailgate a honda and look for a reason to pull him over. That or they will follow you till you **** up.

 

They do that here to, i cant how many times a cop has followed me, either right on my ***, behind me. Cops are just dicks and really have nothing better do then **** with everyone that has a honda, whether the brake the law or not.

 

"gsr swapped 99 coupe???" So does that mean that he also has the BAR'd sticker for the GSR?

 

um im asuming that yes he does, he hasnt really had any trouble besides the average cop thinking its not legal.
