Default Back up fuse keeps blowing

I have a sort of weird problem on my 93 del sol si, I'm not sure where to begin to fix it. It just started the other day I noticed that my brake light was out. So I just went to wal-mart and bought a light and replaced it. All was good it works.

But then I noticed that the clock on my dash wasn't on. So I checked my 7.5 back up fuse under the hood was blown. So I replace it and started the car and my clock came back on. But as soon as I hit my brake pedal the fuse blows and my clock goes out again. So where should I begin looking to fix this?

it is a short some where. i would start with ohming out the tail light you replaced. get a volt meter, remove your tail light with the replaced bulb, remove the installed light, probe both positives and the negative. your resistance in ohms should be ZERO. if more, you have a bad connection inside the light. if not, check your bulb install and be sure it is the proper bulb. many dual filaments and single filaments look similar.
