Default WTB: Quarter Panel Repair Service

I wont have the money for another month but I want to get my quarter panels replaced with metal. They are currently bondo'ed up due to the previous owner. I want something cheap because the car isnt worth much. its a 1994 civic ex coupe. i got a quote from maaco for mid $800 for both sides and paint and i know thats gonna be REALLY hard to beat but wanna see if its possible cuz i dont trust em too much. like i said, the cheaper the better lol

I can do it_ All maaco is gonna do is, fix the rust_ Scuff the car, primer it and then repaint it__ I've seen many Maaco Paint jobs and rust repair, it all looks like ****, paint starts to peel within a few months or fade out_

Give it 2-3 years your car will look like crap, Rust will return_ There is no cheap way to do bodywork if you want it done right_ I can do it, it'll cost you more, but I gurantee it'll be done right_

You will have to purchase new quarterpanels, you can find them online_ Replacement panels aren't cheap but its the best way to go if your planning to keep you car for a long time_ Believe me its worth the money_

I will cut away all the rust, Use Por15(The best rust inhibitor/coating to prevent rust from returning well IMO anyways) to undercoat the new quarterpanels on the inside also and undercoat everything that takes on the weather_ wheel well wise, I will weld in the new quarterpanels, Seal them with silicone on the orginal seems(that rubber stuff you see sealing the panels together_) Kinda hard to explain lol_ but it will be done right_

I use as little of bondo as possible to rebuild the body lines and curves plus to cover up the welds and what not_

I WILL NOT** Repaint your car unless I remove every dent on the vehicle, my name is on that paintjob and bodywork plus my rep is on the line, I won't paint a car only to have its dent still existing(I don't want my name on a crap paint job/bodywork)_ I will do it right and NO my price is not cheap, but its cheaper than what bodyshops charge you for_

Rust repaired, all Dents Removed and repaired_ Car repainted(Including door jams_ If I dont do the jams I'll make it a bit cheaper)_ Vehicle wetsanded and buff to perfection_ Paint will shine ** =]

I use DuPont or Omni Paint products and only use 3m materials

DuPont Paint is really expensive so it'll cost you more, but I can use Omni Paints which is also good paint just not as good as DuPont_ Omni Paint is actually very high quality_

I do 1 coat of Y2k Primer, 400 grit wetsand, Wax and grease remover, One coat of Primer sealer(sometimes 2 depending on what color paint you want) Black primer sealer is used for darker colors and usually covers with 1 coat while grey/white is used for lighter colors and usually takes 2 coats) then 3 coats of base paint or 2 depending on paint again_ then 3 strong coats of clear__ Once dry and paint is ready for wetsanding/buffing_ I wetsand with 1500 grit paper then buff the car using 3m products_ All I can say is, it'll be done right and professionally_

Call me (920)8832037 or text_ please after 3pm since I work til then. We can work out a deal for you_ I might cost you a more than Maaco, but my work will outlast and outshine theres, that I can gurantee, plus my work is cheaper than what shops will charge you, why waste 800 bucks to only have your rust come back only a year or 2 after? Its just money thrown away_ DO it right the first time and you won't waste money doing it again if **** starts to rust again_

Let me know =]

Paint and materials are whats really expensive_ I can go easy on my labor so you won't burn a hole in your wallet, but that really depends on all whats needed to be done__ I have a few cars I have done work on that I can show you to prove my work is flawless, when you get your car back, your paint will have an amazing Mirror shine, I take a lot of pride in my work haha =]_

If I see the car I can give you a good estimate of what I will charge you in my labor_ Paint/supplys thats all on you_

Let me know =] Call me after 3pm or text me during the day_

i spent a grand on the car and its just my daily. im not gonna put too much money into the car. its just something to get me from point a to point b. even then the body is bugging me that much. honestly the post i quoted is turning me off from even repairing the car lol

yeah, i havent had the chance to talk to my gf yet. were not looking for a show car nor anything. the car is as stock as stock can get so i just want something to drive around that doesnt look like a complete pos. i dont mind spending the extra money for quality work, i just cant justify spending too much on a car that i bought for nothing and has a resell value of nothing.
