Innovative Hydro to Cable Conversion???
I've searched and searched and have been unable to find anything about the Innovative Hydro to Cable Trans conversion kit for EKs. I'm buying a hatch from a friend and he has an OBD1 B16A swap for the car with a cable trans. I'll be buying the Innovative motor mount set and their conversion kit, but I'm curious to see exactly how it mounts up and works before I pull the trigger. The cable trans has an LSD so I'd rather not take the "easy way out" and sell the cable in favor of a hydro trans. Sure the conversion might cause a couple more headaches, but for what I'm doing I'd much rather keep the LSD trans. Any pictures of the set-up or links to install threads would be hugely helpful!
well i hope this kinda helps... i had a hasport on mine until my tranny went out on me...petty sure innovative and hasport are almost the same...the conversion is not that hard to do...pretty easy if you fellow the instruction...

Ok that makes sense, I was trying to figure out how it worked in my head, without seeing any decent pictures of the entire product online and I wasn't having much luck. Thanks!
me and my buddy just swapped out to a DA/EF clutch pedal and clutch cable.ima look for pics soon. We got rid of all the hydro lines, slave and pump, feels WAY better than that setup. IMO stay hydro or go all the way and do it like the ef's and da's with the clutch cable. It saves weight and more reliable.

In case anyone got a kit without instructions. You need to drill a 5/16 hole 2.5" from the center of the shaft that is welded to the clutch lever. The rest will explain its self.
